130 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if a tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in view of the fact that he is retired, living on an old age pension and has no other income; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4478/99]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has carried out a review of the taxpayer's affairs and has established that no refund of tax is due.
