411 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has conducted an examination of the urgent need for a primary school in the Littlepace and Castaheany area of Dublin 15; and if he will make a full statement on the matter including a timescale by which a school will be built. I am aware that the Littlepace-Castaheany area of Dublin 15 is experiencing population growth due to significant housing development.
A review of primary school accommodation requirements for this general area, including the need for a new school, is nearing completion at present. When this review is completed a decision will be taken on the provision of a school, size and the time scale involved.
