313 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay being experienced by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to have a hip replacement operation carried out in the South Eastern Health Board area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of medical services to eligible person in County Kilkenny in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
