121 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the plans, if any, he has to provide funding to allow the work on the Corrib system development plan to continue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6652/99]

I can confirm for the Deputy that the position in relation to funding for the Corrib system or western lakes development project remains as outlined in my reply of 11 February 1999.
