Ceist:486 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Land Registry will expedite a dealing for a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [9939/99]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a transfer order which was lodged on 9 February 1998.
I am further informed that the Land Registry issued a query to the applicant's solicitor on 13 April 1999 and that a reply is awaited. The query raised must be satisfactorily discharged before the matter can proceed. Accordingly, it is not possible at this time to estimate a completion date for this application. However, I can assure the Deputy that the Land Registry will do everything possible to expedite the application without undue delay.

Ceist:487 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Land Registry Office will expedite a land registry transfer for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact the delay is preventing the person from getting a mortgage. [9966/99]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that, as far as can be ascertained from the information supplied, there is no application pending in this case.
