52 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive the top up payment of suckler cow premium in view of the fact he received no correspondence regarding an overclaim. [11859/99]
As stated in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 120 of 27 April 1999 the above named herdowner submitted an incomplete area aid application form, in that the total area claimed did not correspond with the sum of the parcels. The area aid unit wrote to the applicant in this connection and appropriate changes were made to his application. However, the processing of the amended application then gave rise to a problem on one of the parcels. This involved writing to the applicant again and his response has enabled the application to be fully processed. Any payments due will issue as soon as possible.
