Written Answers. - Selection Boards.
Participation by VEC members on selection boards is a voluntary public service. Fees are not paid to VEC members for this or other VEC activities. All members of VEC selection boards are paid appropriate expenses at standard rates. In certain circumstances my Department has approved the payment of fees charged by specialist members of selection boards who are not members of the VEC and who are not in public sector employment.
