134 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is still waiting for his boat to be registered in view of the fact the necessary documents were submitted to his Department over two years ago. [21476/99]
The person in question has been asked to provide certain essential information about his fishing vessel. All outstanding matters relating to licensing and registration of the boat will be dealt with as a priority when this information is received.
135 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the position in relation to a sea fishing boat licence for persons (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21477/99]
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that a sea fishing boat licence has been offered, subject to certain conditions and requests, to the persons concerned. Consideration of their licence application will be progressed expeditiously by my Department when their response to the licence offer is received.
