Ceist:141 Ms Coughlan asked the Minister for Defence the proposals, if any, he has for further capital investment at Finner Camp, Ballyshannon, County Donegal. [22628/99]
Written Answers. - Defence Forces Projects.
Between 1996 and 1999 new projects and refurbishment works at Finner Camp were completed at a cost of just over £300,000. Work on a new NCOs' mess costing about £840,000 is ongoing and will be completed in early 2000. A contract for new security fencing has just been placed at a cost of approximately £120,000. In addition, routine maintenance works are carried out as required at the post under the supervision of the corps of engineers.
