242 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the assistance, if any, his Department can give to a small business regarding the alleged fraudulent activities of a bank in Italy (details supplied). [8532/00]
I am informed by the Garda authorities that investigations into a complaint in respect of this matter are ongoing and the assistance of the Italian authorities has been sought under the aegis of Interpol in pursuing necessary inquiries in Naples.
The Garda authorities are awaiting a response to this request and have assured me that they will continue to pursue the matter.
