Monaghan County Council has submitted the Monaghan County Council Compulsory Purchase (Roads) Order No. 1, 1998 Realignment of N2 National Primary Route from Leeg to Creevy (Aclint to Carrickmacross), for my confirmation. A public local inquiry into objections received by me against confirmation of the compulsory purchase order was held. The report of the inspector who held the inquiry has recently been furnished and a decision on the order will be made as soon as possible.
