195 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will take steps to substantially increase the grant payable for group sewerage schemes; if the grant for each affiliated dwelling will be increased from the current level of £1,600 per house to 85% of the approved construction, subject to a cost limit of £6,000 per house and a maximum grant of £5,100 per house, which is similar to that recently announced for group water schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
