145 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position of his Department on an application by persons (details supplied) in Dublin 5 for a new house grant in view of the refusal by the local authority of a disabled person's grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An inspection of the house was recently carried out and, contrary to a condition of the scheme, the house was not complete or occupied.

On receipt of notification that the house is complete and occupied, a further inspection with a view to payment of the grant, if in order, will be arranged.
