231 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a decision has been made on a naturalisation application for a person (details supplied) for post-nuptial citizenship; and if so, the decision in this regard and when it was made. [30173/00]

The application for citizenship referred to by the Deputy was by way of post nuptial declaration. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that a certificate of post-nuptial citizenship for the person referred to issued from my Department on 11 December 2000.
