200 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the plans she has to relocate the Abbey Theatre; if she will ensure that the car park and bar facilities in any new building are accessible to the disabled; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2971/01]

The board of the National Theatre has submitted proposals to me for the future development of the Abbey Theatre and evaluation of these proposals is ongoing. I assure the Deputy that issues relating to accessibility for the disabled will be taken into account fully in any plans for a new or refurbished building.
