My Department proposes to restructure the existing national school at Ratoath to form a 16 teacher junior school and build a new 16 teacher senior school on the existing site in Ratoath.
510 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Education and Science when proper accommodation will be constructed for a school (details supplied) in County Limerick. [20060/01]
Legal arrangements are being finalised at present in relation to the purchase of a site for the school referred to by the Deputy. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
511 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received an application for funding of various proposals (details supplied) from Árdscoil Rís, Marino, Dublin 3; and, if so, when he expects funding to be made available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has received an application for funding towards some of the proposals to which the Deputy refers. We are currently awaiting receipt of tender documents in relation to one of the proposals and we are awaiting receipt of further information from the school in relation to the other proposals.
