994 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Education and Science if an application in respect of essential funding for the recruitment of a full-time manager-co-ordinator employed to work with the youth of County Laois has been received from Laois Youth Services; and if so, if funds will be forthcoming. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department has received a request from Laois Youth Services for financial assistance towards the recruitment of a full-time manager-co-ordinator in the Laois area. Every consideration will be given to this request in 2002 in the light of available financial resources.
