273 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science the amount of money allocated for the refurbishment of the practical rooms at Grennan college; the timeframe for the completion of the works; and the reason for the delay to date in dealing with this matter. [16605/03]
The proposed refurbishment project at Grennan college forms part of section 6 of the published 2003 school building programme, details of which are available on my Department's website at www.education.ie Section 6 refers to large-scale primary and post-primary projects that are at an advanced stage of architectural planning – pre-tender stage. The timing of when these projects can progress to tender and construction is dependent on the funding allocation for 2004 and subsequent years.
