Ceist:275 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Education and Science when he expects the audit of primary and post-primary schools for the presence of asbestos being carried out for his Department by the Office of Public Works to be concluded; the number of schools which have been checked to date; the number which remain to be checked; the cost to date of removing asbestos from schools where its presence has been confirmed; the number of schools awaiting removal work to be carried out after testing positive for the presence of asbestos; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
