599 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the changes that have been made in his Department's plans, programmes, policies and spending arising from the publication of the Government's national spatial strategy. [25419/03]
I can inform the Deputy that my Department is represented on an interdepartmental committee which has been established in relation to the implementation of the national spatial strategy. While the national spatial strategy will have a bearing on planning for the future, particularly in relation to the Courts Service and the Garda Síochána, it is too early in the process to point to changes in programmes, policies or expenditure.
