474 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will request the Garda to bring in a safety and security plan for the residents of Hollybrook Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3 (details supplied) and to include more foot patrols on their schedules. [26451/03]
The level of patrolling afforded to individual areas is the operational responsibility of the Garda authorities.
I am, however, assured by the Garda authorities that the Hollybrook Road area is regularly patrolled by both uniform and plain clothes units based at Clontarf Garda station and will continue to receive particular attention.
