Ceist:

406 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is entitled to the cull ewe payment for 2003; and if so, when payment will issue to this person. [29664/03]

Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government (Mr. Cullen):

The person named is entitled to a compensation payment for losses arising in 2003 from stock reductions as a result of the implementation of the commonage framework plans. It is expected that this payment will issue to him on 15 December 2003.
