Deputy Andrew Doyle asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the number of vacancies on State boards under the aegis of his Department; the number of board members that are currently out on sick leave; if he will provide a breakdown of the figures for the above two categories on a board by board basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Members of Boards of the Agencies under my Department's remit are not, in their capacity as Board members, employees and do not have a contract of employment, they are not required to report their sick leave in that capacity.
