586. Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if she will provide a breakdown of rental costs and site costs for temporary schools being rented from builders or developers over the past five years; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [48448/14]

Generally, where schools require temporary accommodation, the Board of Management is responsible for acquiring this accommodation and the rental contract is between the Board of Management and the supplying contractor and my Department does not hold information on the landlords' businesses.

A list of primary and post primary schools renting land and/or buildings from landlords whose business is unknown but which may fall into the categories specified by the Deputy is provided together with the requested detail.

Land and/or buildings being rented from other landlords do not fall within the categories stipulated by the Deputy.
