362. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht the specific expenditure of her Department in 2019 and for the first six months of 2020 for each of the Decade of Centenaries and commemorative events funded. [21912/20]

With reference to commemorative events, these are undertaken in the main by local stakeholders supported by local authorities or directly by my Department. No State-led ceremonial events were undertaken by my Department during this period. The Deputy should note that the Department allocated €10,000 to each Local Authority in both 2019 and 2020 to develop their own commemorative programmes, many of which include commemorative events.
