asked the Minister for Defence if he will state why the balance of the account, amounting to £41 17s., due to Mrs. Bridget Moloney, of Clogheen, for the maintenance of National Army Troops, has not been paid, and if steps will be taken to have payment expedited, as Mrs. Moloney urgently needs the money.

The only account received at Headquarters from Mrs. Moloney was one amounting to £61 8s. 0d. in respect of the maintenance of troops from the 28th January to the 26th March, 1923. Payments amounting to £41 18s. 6d. were made in full settlement of this account in accordance with the authorised billeting rates.
