82 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange to have the balance of a grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway in respect of work carried out under the Farm Development Service.
As the actual work carried out in this case was less than that originally estimated for and outlined in approved specifications, the final cost and grant paid were consequently reduced.
83 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when grant aid will be made available to assist mushroom growers to instal cooling equipment in their mushroom houses; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
There are no grants available for the establishment of cooling equipment in mushroom houses at present. However grants for the horticulture sector generally are under review.
