109 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Education the number of applications he currently has for multi-denominational primary schools; the proposed location of these schools; when he proposes to respond to them; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
There are currently ten recognised multi-denominational primary schools and an application for the recognition of a further three such schools, one each in Galway City, Dingle and North Kildare.
The normal conditions for recognition have not yet been fulfilled in any of these cases.
