237 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to a report (details supplied) to the effect that there is a serious health hazard at Navan Community College because of dumping of waste material including human faecal matter; and the action, if any, she will take to protect the interests of students attending this school.

This is a matter, in the first instance, for County Meath Vocational Education Committee which is responsible for ensuring that the interests of staff and students at the college are protected. My Department has asked the vocational education committee to submit a report on the problem as a matter of urgency.
