Vol. 440 No. 7

Written Answers. - Use of Government Jet.

Enda Kenny

Ceist:

133 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the usage of the Government jet by him or the Ministers of State at his Department and official parties in respect of St. Patrick's day assignments; the travel arrangements where the Government jet was not used; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Government jet was not used by me or by the Ministers of State at my Department in respect of St. Patrick's Day assignments.

The Minister of State with responsibility for commerce and technology, Deputy Seamus Brennan, visited the United States attending St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Boston and undertaking IDA promotional business. Scheduled flights were used by him on that occasion.
