97 Mr. Morley asked the Minister for the Environment when he intends to reply to a communication from Mayo County Council dated November 1992, referring to a proposed sewerage and sewage disposal scheme for Irishtown, County Mayo, in order that a preliminary report for this scheme can be prepared. My Department has already responded to this communication from Mayo County Council and has advised that because of the high level of demand for water and sewerage schemes, both within County Mayo and nationally, it is not possible at present to approve the Irishtown proposal.
