There have been no applications within my Department for jobsharing since December last.

Ceist:121 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the number and full details of the applications within his Department for job sharing which currently cannot be met due to the embargo on staff recruitment. [8009/96]
The operation of the jobsharing scheme in my Department has not been affected by the Government decision of December 1995 which restricts the filling of vacancies in the Civil Service. Therefore, there are no applications for jobsharing in my Department which currently cannot be met due to that decision.
