135 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the way in which the proposals of the task force established arising out of the Packard Electric closure will be funded; the source of this funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12161/96]

The cost of implementing the recommendations in the interim report of the Tallaght Task Force, which have been accepted by the Government, will be met from public and private sector sources. Details of the precise funding arrangements have not yet been finalised.
