Roigh Pier is owned by Mayo County Council and maintenance and development of the facilities are, therefore, the responsibility of the local authority in the first instance.
Proposals received from Mayo County Council for development works at piers and harbours, including Roigh Pier, are being considered in the drawing up of a fishery harbour development programme for 1999.
