Ceist:

500 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when the registration of a schedule for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be completed in the Land Registry Office. [12971/00]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to a Land Commission schedule which was lodged in September 1980.

I am further informed that Land Commission schedules are deemed to be registered as of the date of vesting which is prior to the date of lodgement of the documents in the Land Registry. Accordingly, registration in the Land Registry of Land Commission cases is afforded a lower priority than the registration of other dealings.

This application is now being expedited and will be dealt with as soon as possible.
