Chair of the Committee, Roisin Shortall, says: “The Oireachtas Committee on the Future of Healthcare is examining potential new models for health care in Ireland, with a remit to achieve cross-party consensus on a ten year strategy for health care and health policy in Ireland. Tomorrow will continue with our series of engagements with representative bodies which will help the Committee set-out a long term strategy for the future of healthcare in Ireland. We’re looking forward to hearing about the experiences of a number of groups from around the country and getting their perspectives on implementing practical change to improve healthcare delivery and their views on the model of healthcare they would like to see in operation in Ireland.”

This meeting will take place in Committee Room 4, Leinster House from 9 am on Wednesday, 16 November 2016.
