Committee on Budgetary Oversight to resume discussions on inflation

The Committee on Budgetary Oversight will meet this evening with Representatives from the Central Bank of Ireland to resume discussions on inflation.

Speaking ahead of the meeting at 5.30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Neasa Hourigan said: “Following our recent engagements on inflation with economists from UCD and UCC and the ESRI, the Committee looks forward to discussing potential policy responses to cost of living increases with representatives of the Central Bank.”

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
