Joint Committee on Health to continue its pre-legislative scrutiny of the general scheme of the Public Health (Tobacco and Nicotine Inhaling Products) Bill 2019

The meeting will be broadcast from Committee Room 1 at 11am and will include a discussion with representatives from Vape Business Ireland followed by submissions given from representatives from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland (RCPI) and from the Institute of Public Health.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Sean Crowe TD said: “The Committee will continue its pre-legislative scrutiny of this important legislation and will welcome the opportunity to hear the views of these key stakeholders in this important issue.’

The Joint Committee on Health has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
