The Joint Committee on Education and Skills has published a report on tackling childhood obesity and promoting healthy eating in schools.
The report suggests measures that schools could take to promote healthy lifestyles and nutrition as well as physical education to prevent obesity. Recommendations include a ban on vending machines that dispense unhealthy food and drinks in schools.
