Jobs Committee to meet with Enterprise Ireland, ISME and SFA

The Oireachtas Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation will discuss Enterprise Ireland’s new micro enterprise and small business unit with representatives from Enterprise Ireland, ISME and the Small Firms Association at its meeting today, Tuesday, 23rd October, 2012.

Chairman of the Committee Deputy Damien English said: “Tomorrow, we will meet with representatives from Enterprise Ireland, ISME and the Small Firms Association to consider proposals for Enterprise Ireland’s new Micro Enterprise and Small Business Unit, with specific reference to how the State agency for supporting Irish business will liaise with local authorities to replace the County Enterprise Boards’ functions and assist small Irish exporting companies.”

This meeting will begin at 1.30pm in Committee Room 2, Leinster House on Tuesday, 23rd October.
