Minister for Defence to appear before Justice Committee

Minister for Defence Alan Shatter TD will attend the meeting of the Select Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality tomorrow, 7th November, 2012 for the 2012 Supplementary Estimates for Public Services – Vote 35 (Army Pensions).

Following this meeting, Minister of State at the Department of Justice and Equality Kathleen Lynch will attend the meeting for the Committee stage of the Europol Bill 2012. The main purpose of the Bill is to implement into Irish law the EU Council Decision of 6th April 2009 establishing the European Police Office (Europol).

This meeting will start in Committee Room 1, Leinster House at 10am on Wednesday 7th November.
