Seán Barrett, T.D., Ceann Comhairle said, \"I am deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of a close personal friend and parliamentary colleague, Shane McEntee, T.D.. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with his wife, Kathleen, his son Vincent and his daughters Helen and Sally. Shane was well respected, both inside and outside of the House, and his diligence to his constituents as well as his work, in the Department of Agriculture, which he loved, was recognised by all who met him.
