Minister of State at the Department of Health with Responsibility for Primary Care Alex White TD will attend the Sub-Committee on Health today, Tuesday, 19th March 2013 for the committee stage of the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Bill 2012.
Committee Chairman, Jerry Buttimer TD said: “The Bill provides for the introduction of a system of generic substitution and reference pricing. The main objective of this Bill is to ensure value for money for taxpayers in the supply of medicines. The Bill will receive detailed consideration and members will have the opportunity discuss amendments to the legislation as published.”
The meeting takes place today, Tuesday, 19th March, 2013 at 3.30pm in Committee Room 2, LH 2000.
