The Sub Committee on Health will consider the Health Service Executive Governance Bill 2012 at its meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, 23rd April 2013.
The Health Service Executive (Governance) Bill 2012 will abolish the Board structure of the Health Service Executive (HSE) and provide for a Directorate to be the new governing body for the HSE in place of the Board, headed by a Director General.
Committee Chairman Jerry Buttimer TD said: “Tomorrow, the Bill will receive detailed consideration and members will have the opportunity to propose and discuss any amendments to the legislation as published.”
The meeting starts in Committee Room 2, Leinster House at 5pm on Tuesday, 23rd April 2013
