The Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality is inviting written submissions from interested groups or individuals on the Heads of the Children and Family Relationship Bill.
Committee Chairman David Stanton, TD, said: “The Children and Family Relationships Bill 2013 is intended to create a legal structure to underpin diverse parenting situations and provide legal clarity on parental rights and duties in diverse family forms. The Committee would welcome submissions on the Heads of the Bill. We will consider any written submissions received and may decide to invite a number of contributors to public hearings should the Committee feel that this is necessary.”
Written submissions should be submitted electronically by email (PDF/MsWord or equivalent) and should be received not later than 3pm on Friday 28th February 2014 at the following e-mail address only: childrenandfamilybill@oir.ie
