Consideration of Industrial Relations (Forfás Dissolution) Bill 2013 will be on the agenda of the Select Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation tomorrow, Tuesday, 11th March 2014.
Committee Vice Chairman John Lyons TD said: “Among the key elements of the Bill are the integration of the research and policy advisory functions of Forfás into the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and the transfer of certain functions to Enterprise Ireland, IDA and the Health and Safety Authority as appropriate. It also provides for the dissolution of Forfás and the transfer of staff to the Department. Tomorrow, the Bill will receive detailed consideration and members will have the opportunity to propose and discuss any amendments to the legislation as published.”
This meeting will start at 1.30pm on 11th March 2014 in Committee Room 2.
