The Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality is to write to An Taoiseach with its recommendations for issues to be included in the terms of reference of the Commission of Investigation examining the issue of taping and recording of non-999 calls at Garda stations.
The Committee will then await the publication of the terms of reference before it decides how it will proceed on this issue.
