26 Beal 2014, 11:03

The Joint sub-Committee on Global Taxation will resume its hearings on Ireland’s relationship with the global corporate/multinational taxation architecture tomorrow, Tuesday, 27th May 2014.

Sub-Committee Chairman Ciarán Lynch TD said: “The interaction of Ireland’s corporate income tax system with the rules and regimes in operation in other countries will be focus of tomorrow’s meeting when the sub-committee hears from Brian Keegan, Director of Taxation, Chartered Accounts Ireland and Sorley McCaughey, Head of Policy and Advocacy at Christian Aid Ireland. It is important that we engage in a process of understanding how our tax infrastructure works in an international context and our meeting tomorrow should help to inform our understanding of the issues.”
