Jobs Committee to meet ISME and New Generation Development on job creation and business growth in town centres

Measures to support business growth and job creation in town and village centres will again be the focus of the Joint Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at its meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, 1st July 2014

The schedule for tomorrow’s meetings is:

Session A: 1.45 p.m.
Irish Small and Medium Enterprises (ISME)
Session B: 2.45 p.m.
New Generation Development

Committee Chairman Damien English TD said: “As the committee with a remit in the area of jobs, enterprise and innovation it is important that we continue to play our part in contributing to achieving progress on the subject of job creation and business growth in town centres and finding new potential flexible and sustainable solutions to town centre rejuvenation. We’re looking forward to getting the perspectives on the various measures and guidelines that ISME and New Generation Development would like to see implemented to attract shoppers, boost trade and breathe new life into town centres which in turn will lead to business growth and job creation.”

This meeting will start at 1.30pm on Tuesday, 1st July 2014 in Committee Room 2.
