Health & Children Committee to launch report on Heads of Aftercare Bill 2014

The Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health and Children will tomorrow, Thursday, 17th July 2014, publish its report on the General Scheme and Heads of the Aftercare Bill 2014.

The report on the will be presented to the new Minister for Children James Reilly TD on the plinth at Leinster House at approximately 11.30am and will be published on the Oireachtas.ie website.

Committee Chairman, Jerry Buttimer TD said: “As part of the pre-legislative scrutiny process, the Committee was requested to review and consider the General Scheme and Heads of Aftercare Bill 2014. This report summarises key issues relating to the General Scheme which have been brought to the Committee’s attention or have otherwise been identified as being potentially relevant.”
